As humans, we have a lot of outlets for our emotions. When we say emotions, that includes the positive ones as well as the negatives.

One example is when we are mad, may it be because of someone or something.

Usually, when we’re mad we can’t think straight, and oftentimes we just lash out on a whim. We couldn’t care less about the results of our actions whenever we’re in a rage.

But looking at the bigger picture, being impulsive may result in something bad.

The impact will surely be negative and it could affect so many things in so many ways. Sometimes, we just really have to deal with extreme emotions with extra caution.

Sadly, this cat wasn’t able to do that.

This is the newest addition to the funny cat & dog videos!

In this video, a cat named Ruta can be seen sitting on a sofa’s armrest, and beside him is a well-behaved dog named Howie.

The cat is closely staring at the dog.

We couldn’t tell you what’s going through his mind, but things aren’t looking so good for Howie.

The unsuspecting dog seems to be enjoying whatever is on the television as he’s just quietly seated on the sofa.

He has no idea that the cat beside him is eyeing him.

Something smells fishy.

If you will look closely at the video, you’ll see the cat’s strange face.

It looks like he’s up for something and he is just waiting for the right time.

The dog is still watching, he is still clueless with what’s about to happen.

Pretty soon, the cat sees the right opportunity – to what?

To strike the quiet dog beside him!

He gives the dog a swing with hopes that it will go unretaliated, however, he’s terribly wrong.

The dog instantly strikes back with a bite using his powerful jaws that sends off the cat running away.

The short but sweet video of these two creatures will definitely make your day.

This usually happens, even to humans. Have you thought of a similar experience that you had before?

This actually happens a lot- and you might be grinning right now because a personal experience of yours just popped in your head.

Whenever anger takes us over, we’re capable of doing things that we end up regretting after.

Sometimes, we put ourselves into trouble that we really don’t want to be involved with.

So it’s always best to think about things before taking any action that you might end up regretting.

As the famous quote says,

“Don’t make a permanent decision based on temporary emotions.”

Is the cat really the bad guy?

The funny video’s description doesn’t have a concrete explanation about the story behind it. Although the cat was the first to launch the attack, there’s no telling if he did it just because.

It could be that the dog also did something offensive to the cat (easy to do)- and maybe that’s why he decided to get even with him. Either way, the video was still adorable and it gave us a good laugh!

Are cats and dogs natural enemies?

Cats and dogs don’t get along very well, this is the common misconception or “stereotype” that most people have in mind about them.

Truth be told, this is the kind of relationship that we thought these two creatures have. Who knows whether it’s right or wrong?

According to Jessica Pierce Ph.D. of Psychology Today:

“Dogs and cats are sworn enemies, at least in the movies and in our common stereotypes. But are they really? Most people I know who have both a cat and a dog say that their animals get along pretty well together.”

We all hope that Ruta and Howie will soon put a stop to their “petty” fight.
