Owning a dog comes with a lot of responsibilities. The list includes making sure that your dog is well-behaved at all times.

You need to make sure that he knows where to do his business and that he’s not allowed to eat the furniture at home.

But dogs, like humans, can make mistakes.

And as a dog owner, it’s easy to get mad and feel frustrated whenever they don’t behave well. You may find yourself scolding your pooch or pointing at them with your finger while yelling at them. At times, you may find yourself unable to resist their charm.

Dogs have this way of looking extra cute when they’re caught doing something wrong. They look at their humans with big puppy eyes and their tails wagging. Who can resist that?

A video of guilty dog reactions is going viral online.

With their cute faces, it’s not hard to see why. Even if most of them did extremely annoying things, they were forgiven the minute they showed their guilty faces.

One of those dogs was Lilly.

She was caught tearing up a couple of Christmas presents. Well, it could have been anyone. However, she had a hard time looking her human in the eye and that gave her away easily.

Then, there’s Willow.

His dad planted a couple of beautiful flowers. All of a sudden, one went missing.

Willow could have easily saved herself if only she didn’t hang out by the flowers and show her guilty face.

If cute faces don’t work, dogs can play dead.

Well, at least that’s the case for one dog who was caught chewing up a plastic bag. She didn’t run or hide when confronted about it. She chose to fall on the floor and lay on her back.

Dogs can feel ashamed, too.

Training your dog doesn’t guarantee that there’ll be no pet accident on the floor. It can still happen from time to time.

One guy realized that the hard way. After coming home and walking inside, he found the dog’s poop all over the carpet.

The dog couldn’t deny or play innocent. He just sat there and looked remorseful.

Licking lips is a sign of guilt, too.

A woman happily baked Christmas cookies. Unfortunately, she left them on the counter by mistake. When she came back to get them, they weren’t there anymore.

Of course, she had to ask the dog.

The guilty pooch had a hard time looking at her human. She can’t stop licking her lips, either.

A hug saves the day.

Cookie’s human found her in the bathroom with a huge mess. She ripped up an entire roll of toilet paper and left the pieces on the bathroom floor.

Knowing that she’s caught and there’s no way for her to defend herself, Cookie quickly admitted the crime and asked for an apology. She immediately hopped up for a hug.

The video earned so many responses from pet owners.

One of them said:

“LOL… I absolutely love the ones that just drop down n exposed the belly. I imagine them saying, “rub the belly mom/dad, it’ll make you feel so good”.”
