Tater Tot is a Golden Retriever that has been described as the “happiest dog in the world” by his parents. True enough, every dog owner would know how special their pets are.

Danni Scott has always been vocal about feeling proud and happy with her dog Tater Tot.

Tater Tot has changed Danni’s life for the better and she knows it too well. The dog spreads joy to his family and just this April, he was able to spread this happiness to thousands of other people as well.

According to Tater’s proud mom, this very good doggo has always been a jolly pup. He loves human contact and craves sweet touches from his family all the time!

What’s adorable is that he loves meeting new friends and always welcomes playtime!

“He has a fascination with anything that can go in his mouth,” Danni Scott shares with her interview with The Dodo. “When he gets happy or excited, he needs something in his mouth like a security blanket. When we can’t find our other shoe, Tater is the likely culprit. Luckily he doesn’t really chew/destroy anything.”

A post from Danni’s Instagram last April went viral because of Tater Tot’s adorable encounter with a boot.

That day, he came inside the house after he enjoyed his time playing outdoors. He became so excited when he saw that his mom was happy to see him.

What he did next was rush to find his favorite item so he could carry it with him, but instead of a shoe, he found a boot. That will do, Tater must have thought.

The silly dog picked it up and things took a turn when the boot got stuck over his adorable face!

Tater didn’t seem to be bothered by it though. He ran over to Danni and showed how happy he was to see her, pretending that there was no boot stuck on his face at all.

Danni couldn’t stop laughing!

“He cracked me up,” Danni smiles as she remembers. “He’s so silly! I ran to get my phone to get a video.”

The boot was almost covering his entire face and he seemed to want to act like nothing’s wrong. That’s what makes it all too funny!

After a while, this good doggo realized that he could just shake the boot off his face and he was free!

Then, he picked it up again but this time, he made sure that it didn’t get stuck on his face.

He went back to being the silly, jolly, and adorable doggo that he was, minus the boot!

“Tater is a big goofball and a bigger love,” Danni added to The Dodo. “He has a superpower to bring happiness to everyone he meets.”
