Watch this super good dog give his human a much-needed haircut
We’re not sure exactly what Felix Nestor was thinking, but it had to be something along the lines of “I really need a haircut and I don’t care how it turns out.”
With so many of us missing our stylists these days (and knowing it’ll be hard to get an appointment once salons reopen at limited capacity), men and women alike have had to get creative about keeping up their tresses.
But Nestor really stuck his neck out and enlisted the most unlikely of assistants – his dog, Tyson.

Well, they say you shouldn’t try to cut your own hair, but so far no one has explicitly said you shouldn’t let your dog do it!
Nestor himself is a hairdresser, so he technically had the skills (unlike most of us).
Tyson, on the other hand, is inexperienced at best. But he is cute and, technically, if you’re willing to let your dog take clippers to your head, you’re also able to forgive them for any of the potential outcomes.

We don’t know how he got Tyson to do it, but Nestor managed to get the dog to hold the electric clippers in his teeth without the noise or vibration spooking him.
That’s already an impressive feat!
And it appears Tyson can, at the very least, stand still while dad moves his head around to sheer off his extra length.
He really does take some hair off! And to the duo’s credit, neither one of them looks nervous or freaked out by the outcome.
In fact, Tyson sits back, clippers still secured between his teeth, and admires what he’s done.
It looks like he has a great, big smile on his face as he surveys his handiwork.
It’s clear from Nestor’s Instagram page that Tyson is a very calm dog who is generally willing to go along with dad’s ideas.

Still, we think everyone got pretty lucky. Those clippers have lots of safety controls on them, but that doesn’t mean all dogs are born to be stylists.
You have to take a look at Tyson in action to really get an idea of how this worked:

“My dog cuts better than some hairdressers,” Nestor captioned the short clip (no pun intended).
The video has now been viewed over 137K times on Nestor’s Instagram page alone – though we’re hoping it wasn’t so people could get instructions on how to teach their own dogs how to cut hair.
As for the rest of us, we’ll have to be patient – especially those whose hair grows slowly, because growing it out again so a stylist can fix it will take time.
We hope we don’t have to say “don’t try this at home,” but we know the desperation many people feel right now. We simply don’t look or feel like ourselves without our regular grooming regimen.
Sadly it doesn’t appear that Tyson is taking requests for appointments from anyone else.
