Dogs become best friends after meeting through a hole in the fence
Moving to a new place isn’t always easy. Apart from the hard work of packing and unpacking things, you also have to work on getting used to your new environment and its people.
One adorable dog had no problem when her family moved into their new home.
Dory, a Golden Mountain puppy, found a friend right away. Her human Ross Brickelmaier didn’t find that surprising. The dog has always been friendly.
She shared:
“She wants to play with all humans and dogs.”
During the family’s first weekend at home, they noticed something strange.
While enjoying their backyard, they suddenly noticed a white dog pushing his head through a hole in their fence. Like them, Dory felt curious.
The dog clearly wanted to greet the new neighbor and Dory showed the same enthusiasm.
Her human recalled:
“As soon as Dory realized that head was attached to a dog, she started looking or him every time she went into the backyard.”
The two became friends quickly.
Dory and Tasso didn’t take a long time getting used to each other’s presence. In fact, they became friends right of the bat. Even the fence wasn’t able to keep them away from each other.
Later on, the dogs realized that greeting each other through the hole in the fence wasn’t enough.
Tasso found a way to squeeze under the fence and get himself into Dory’s yard. The 8-and-a-half-month-old puppy was more than happy to entertain her guest.
When they were finally able to meet without the fence, the two dogs were over the moon.
They started running around and playing all over Dory’s yard. They were just ecstatic to finally be able to play with each other.
Dory’s parents decided to cut the dogs’ first meeting short.
They haven’t met Tasso’s parents yet so they escorted the playful dog back to his own yard. However, after their first meeting, Dory and Tasso seemed to come up with a decision. They’ll be best friends for life!
Ross shared:
“They continued to flirt under the fence and pass toys underneath, and Dory learned to stick her head under the fence but realized that she was too big to fit all the way underneath.”
Tasso’s parents didn’t have a clue about the pair’s recorded interactions.
They came across their videos on TikTok. After watching them, they couldn’t deny the dogs’ chemistry. They are just so hilarious together.
Like their dogs, the humans became fast friends.
They shared:
“We decided we needed to get the dogs together for an official playdate, so we took Dory over for drinks in their backyard. The dogs and humans had a great time, so we’ll be doing it again soon!”
Dory isn’t just famous on TikTok. She’s quite popular on Instagram, too. Nearly 3,000 people are following her adventures and that’s not surprising. Dory is a friendly, fun-loving, and funny dog. It’s not that hard to fall in love with her.
