After a sweet dog video goes viral, the pup loses his mind when he sees himself on the news

Have you ever been on TV?

Perhaps you’ve seen yourself in the background of a local event or were interviewed by a news anchor.

If so, you know that feeling of “Hey, look at me!” You feel so cool, so validated, so recognized.

That’s exactly how Bronn the Labradoodle felt last month. It’s just that Bronn is a dog and gets love, recognition, and validation all day – and, frankly, we’re pretty impressed he could even recognize himself on the screen!

In April of this year, the pup’s owner, Angela Lally Labat of Louisiana, gave us all something to giggle about as we watched Bronn watch himself on television.

Funny enough, it all started with a totally different viral Facebook video of Bronn – this one enjoying playtime with his human brother Liam.

Labat knew it was too cute not to share as Liam crawled around the floor towards his furry pal giggling wildly and, in return, Bronn being his happy, playful self and showing all the body language of loving the game.

Those giggles alone are enough to make any viewer smile – that’s why in just two weeks, the clip has been viewed over 68,000 times.

Just take a look:

Adorable, right?

In times like these, a cute video can be just what we need – and Labat acknowledged that in her caption: “I’d be selfish to not share this! The love of a boy and his dog.”

But, hold on, because things get even cuter.

The video made the local news station – and even stations beyond the state borders – because people couldn’t get enough of these two sweet boys having fun.

Then, one night as the family was watching WWL-TV News, the video popped up on the “big screen” – and Bronn just happened to be in the room to see his television debut.

He looked at the screen until a flicker of recognition came across his face. “Hey…is that? That’s ME!”

And boy did he lose the plot!

While we’re assuming Bronn can’t read the headline calling him “adorable,” he certainly knew the story was about him.

He began jumping and barking, turning into a veritable blur of excitement.

And he just couldn’t stop. We don’t know if he was trying to draw everyone’s attention to it or simply reveling in his 15 minutes (or more like seconds) of fame as the video clip ran.

It’s like he’s trying to jump into the video and relive the moment – and we’re seriously impressed at how high this pup can jump!

He even manages to get eye-level with the mounted screen, staring himself right in the face.

In the full video (which you can see below) Bronn is virtually levitating with excitement.

And do you know what happened next?

THAT video went viral as well!

Uploaded a few days after the first, it’s now nearing 62,000 views as well – and we have the feeling they’ll be even more as people continue to share it. How could you resist such a happy puppy?

While many people would be happy to enter the unlimited loop of virality, Labat decided not to record a third video of Bronn watching himself yet again on the news. After all, you don’t want a dog thinking he’s too famous – they already demand enough attention as it is!

While the pup’s fame is limited to mom’s Facebook page and a few websites at the moment, fans are begging her to start an Instagram for Bronn.

Only time will tell if we’ll see more of the joyful Labradoodle, but it looks like Labat has her hands full as it is.

Be sure to scroll down to see Bronn react to his moment in the spotlight.
