They’re calling it the “impawsibble choice.”

It took place recently at a hardware store in Missouri when a German Shepherd named Mila was given a chance to choose the toy of her choice.

Retail therapy

Mila knows what a trip to this store means – she usually gets to pick out a toy from the big bin when she goes in.

“The aisle with the toy bin is one of the last stops in the store so she impatiently pulled the leash towards that part of the store the whole visit,” her owner Shannon Emery said, according to Yahoo News.

He shared the footage of her most recent trip to TikTok on March 5th and it’s now making the rounds online because it’s just so cute.

All in

As Emery and Mila approached the big bin of toys, Mila jumps in. But being a good girl, she hopped back out before dad could get out the phone.

Once he got set up, he started to record her excitement and can be heard telling other shoppers that the pup had hopped in before and he was waiting to see if she would do it again.

“When we finally got there this time, the stock was low so she could not reach the toys very well. She just jumped right in without hesitation but I was not recording the first time she did it. So, we recreated the moment on camera,” he said, according to Fox 5 News.

She really wants to!

Puppy power

Mila is still a puppy at just 1 year old, so it’s pretty hard for her to contain herself around an endless supply of toys. She hops up on the side of the bin, sniffing around for the perfect one, wagging her tail the whole time.

She looks like she’s going to hop in a few times, but restrains herself (despite not getting into trouble the first time). Maybe she just knows it’s bad manners!

As she revels in her good fortune, Emery can be heard saying “this is how we shop for dog toys” in the background.

The pull is too strong

Mila holds back for a good 30 seconds before she gives in to the thrill of hopping in again. The lure of immersing herself in a pile of toys is just too great to ignore any longer.

She rummages around, but it’s clear that she has a sense that what she’s doing, while sanctioned by dad, isn’t what good dogs do. She looks a little nervous but continues her quest for the perfect toy.

Going viral

Mila’s video is all over the news – at least the sites that carry some lighter fare. It seems people just can’t get enough of watching this sweet girl get excited.

According to dad, she ended up picking a “yellow squeaky ball” to take home this time around.

Frankly, we hope he records every trip to the store from now on!
