Ruby is stealing the hearts of many and, even now, her video is still trending worldwide.

With all the news that we’re seeing, it’s a breather to see some feel-good news and one video has captured the hearts of many. You’ll totally understand once you see it.

Meet beautiful Ruby, the canine superstar today that has been giving people a reason to smile. She is actually a short-haired pointer dog that has a rather unusual, but absolutely lovely, hobby – to pet other dogs.

It couldn’t get any sweeter than this one! It’s like she is ensuring the other dogs that everything will be alright and that she is there as their friend.

Dogs know how much loyalty, friendship, and companionship mean, and Ruby is making sure that her fellow doggos know that they have a friend in her.

Ruby along with her brother Miles are actually regulars at the Den Doggy Daycare in Burlington, Ontario. There, she formed a hobby that captured the hearts of the caretakers and, of course, her fellow dogs.

Alanah Lorraine, a person who is also a regular at the doggy daycare, shared that she first noticed this adorable dog doing her thing when she would leave her dog, Lexy, at the daycare.

“She does it every time she is in,” Lorraine told in her interview with The Dodo. “We think she wants attention!”

While all the other dogs would run, be naughty, and even play with the other dogs, Ruby has something different in mind. She is definitely not keeping her paws to herself!

Another thing that’s funny is the reaction of all the other dogs.

Some have this completely confused look, some shocked, and some just allow Ruby to do her thing. It seems that some have even grown used to the kind behavior.

It’s like her way of saying “hi” and “how are you doing there, buddy?”

“Most dogs aren’t bothered by it and just let it happen,” Lorraine added in her interview.

Lorraine felt that Ruby is such a sweet girl she began filming the good doggos’ friendly gesture. Every time she caught her doing it she’d film her, and recently she decided to compile all her clips into one and posted it on her TikTok account.

It’s no surprise that Ruby’s video went viral in a matter of days!

The video already has 160.6K likes and is still being shared today!

“I thought it would be adorable,” Lorraine continued in her interview, “but I never imagined it would go viral.”

While some said that the act of “pawing” is a typical behavior of dogs that show submission or an act to engage in play time, we think Ruby just wants to be really friendly.

Upon checking her videos, Ruby seems to be interested in only one thing and that’s being a friend to everyone.

Indeed, Ruby is such a sweet pup and we can’t help but fall in love with her. Wait until you see her video and be ready to gush over her cuteness as well.
