Dog plays favorites with her parents – waits for dad by the door even though mom is right there
Parents are never supposed to have favorite kids – which I’m sure never happens – but what about kids having a favorite parent? Or even better, dogs having a favorite owner! This sparkling white pup shows which “parent” she loves the most!
Wooyoo the white Samoyed.
The name of a dog often makes it so much cuter! This pup is named Wooyoo and is a furry Samoyed! Samoyed breeds (Sammys) are known for being powerful and smart! The AKC (American Kennel Club) says:
A Sammy sentenced to solitary confinement in the yard is a miserable—and destructive—creature. These are smart, social, mischievous dogs who demand love and attention. Sammies need a very firm but loving hand in training. As pack animals, they must learn early who the alpha dog is—and the alpha dog must be you.
It looks like there is an “alpha dog” in the house!
Wooyoo is a famous dog! With 86.9k followers on Instagram, this pup probably has some pupparazzi!
Wooyoo loves her owners.
A video getting lots of attention shows Wooyoo acting VERY sad when her dad leaves to take his son to school. Wooyoo’s mom filmed the whole ordeal!
She has hope in her eyes as her dad gets ready to leave!
When the dad and son open the door to leave, Wooyoo starts to wag her tail! She was probably hoping for a fun trip with dad to school! After realizing that she isn’t going, she turns around in apparent confusion, “THEY LEFT ME!”.
Realizing dad isn’t coming back in the door, Woyoo lets her mom know she is upset!
A few seconds after Wooyoo realizes her dad isn’t walking back in IMMEDIATELY, she gets very upset. Walking around and whining, she looks to her mom for answers. She even goes and sits next to the door, hoping to be the first one to know if dad is coming home.
Ignoring her mom’s calls, Wooyoo waits for her dad.
After waiting for some time, her mom calls her and tells her to go upstairs. Looking at her mom, she walks over and sits on the stairs. When her mom starts to walk upstairs and call out to her, she looks at the door where her dad left. Ignoring her mom’s calls, she waits at the door.
Suddenly, there are some noises that appear to be coming from outside.
With the sad piano music slowly turning happier, Wooyoo sits up in hopes that this will bring her dad in sooner. As the other dog in the house begins to bark, Wooyoo gets as close as she can to the crack in the door, hoping to see dad.
The door opens!
The best moment in the world has officially happened…Dad came home! Wooyoo lets out a few celebratory barks and snuggles up to dad’s hand, happy to have him back.
With the world in order, Wooyoo can enjoy her day…any maybe a nap.
Now that her dad is home, Wooyoo knows that she can rest easy. I am sure that she moved from her cold spot next to the door and found a better, warmer spot, hopefully, next to mom and dad.
I guess we know which parent Wooyoo loves more!
Ignoring her mom’s calls and waiting a long time for dad shows that Wooyoo may be a daddy’s girl. I’m sure she loves to snuggle both of her parents equally, however.
