Dog loses it with excitement when owner dumps out 400 tennis balls for his birthday
There are a few things that dogs just love. Cuddles, fetch, belly rubs and scratches mean the entire world to a dog (even though I am partial to a good head scratch, myself). There is something so fun about seeing the pure joy that comes from your canine friend when you give them such a simple gift.
As dog owners, people love to spoil their pets and see them happy and healthy.
This dog parent loves to spoil her pups!
Alistair Clyde is the proud owner of two awesome pups. Titus is a Belgian Malinois who has a brother, Bear, a Chihuahua. They live together and one of Clyde’s favorite things to do is spoil her doggos!
A loving owner who wants to prove it.
Clyde is a great dog parent and shows her affection all the time! They are some of her best friends and she is always thinking of ways to show them how much they mean to her.
“Titus is the goofiest boy. He loves to play 24/7. He’s also the smartest dog I’ve ever had.”
We all love a goofy boy. They make for awesome playmates and snuggle partners.
Getting creative on how to make his birthday special.
Wanting to give her best for Titus, Clyde got creative with what she was going to do for his birthday.
“I was like, ‘What would he want for his birthday? What’s his favorite thing in the world? Tennis balls. No brainer!’”
Wanting to do something fun and out of the ordinary, she knew that a regular 3-pack of tennis balls wasn’t going to do the trick. It was time to go all out.
Titus was about to get the best gift of his life.
“I saw that you could buy 30, 60, 200 or 400 tennis balls. I first picked the 60 one and was like, ‘What? No. That’s not good enough. He deserves ALL the tennis balls!’”
With two, huge boxes showing up at the house, Titus was ready for his surprise.
Clyde opened up the top of the box and dumped out the “neon green gold” for Titus. Losing his mind, he ran around and had an absolute ball.
“At first, he was a little taken aback when I dumped them. It took about five seconds for him to start running around like a maniac in excitement.”
Tearing into the cloth, Titus went to town on the balls. Even with his excitement, he couldn’t get through all 400!
What about Bear, Titus’ older brother?
Clyde said this about Bear:
“[He’s] getting a little older so stays on my lap and watches. He got treats so he knew he was special and loved, too.”
Clyde also said that they were still finding tennis balls in random places around the house days later! I guess that is what happens when you release 400 tennis balls into a house with dogs!
“No dog can use all those tennis balls!”
Obviously, Titus can’t use every single tennis ball (although I’m sure that he could try). Clyde plans on taking the extra ones that weren’t destroyed by Titus and donating them to a local dog shelter. With his birthday gift complete, Titus got to have tons of fun AND help some other doggy friends in the area.
