Although some people believe dogs are loyal only because we provide food and shelter, we have seen a connection beyond just that.

A beautiful German Shepherd named Freya was being taken care of while her owner was away for a few months.

As Freya’s temporary caretaker opens the door Freya barks with unfamiliarity until she gets closer and closer to her joyful owner. The moment Freya smelled him she sang with excitement and happy cries. Freya could barely contain her joy when her owner came to pick her up.

Her owner sat down with her as she circled him wagging her tail excessively and nuzzled her nose all over him.

He didn’t want to move as Freya was over the moon to see him. This precious reconnection just proves how loyal dogs really are. Even months apart couldn’t stop Freya from squealing with happiness to see her rightful owner. She sniffed every inch of her owner in shock that she was finally reunited with him.

As Freya slowly began to calm down found herself comfortably cradled in her owner’s arms.

She was certainly ready to pack on all of the kisses she didn’t get to give while he was away. This dynamic duo is stoked to go on many walks and dog park days! You can tell Freya is absolutely thrilled to finally go back home. Her faithful owner seems to be just as delighted to have his trusty sidekick back!
