Talking dog shuts up his humans with hilarious conversation caught on camera

Dogs communicate with humans and other dogs in unique ways. Usually, they communicate through barks, growls, and howling. But some dogs like to imitate their human owners when talking to them.

Take Charlie, for example, he can’t help himself when his human sisters start talking to him and has to let them know what he thinks.

Fortunately, one recent “conversation” was caught on video.

In the video, Charlie is sitting in the kitchen with his human sisters. Soon, he is speaking his mind, especially when one of them directly talks to him. The conversation starts when one of them says blah, blah, blah to him.

Before you know it, he is breaking into a vocalization that sounds like he is mocking her and saying blah, blah, blah back. It almost seems that he has heard enough of their chatter and must tell them just what he thinks.

And he doesn’t stop there. As his sisters continue to try and get a word in edgewise, Charlie continues to talk over them, getting louder as they get louder. Soon, his vocalization is overpowering all their attempts to speak.

Amused, his sisters try to get him to say hello, but of course, the talkative dog will have none of it, continuing to say blah, blah, blah throughout the entire conversation. And while he loves them, he doesn’t want to hear any more of their nonsense.

[H2] Do dogs talk?

For the most part, dogs don’t talk in the same sense that humans do. Their vocalizations are an attempt to communicate with other dogs, animals, and humans, but they lack the vocal cords to talk like an actual human. When they do say something that sounds similar to a word, it is just them imitating what they have heard.

In some cases, a dog will vocalize in response to a siren in the distance or the sound of a baby crying. Researchers believe that when a dog does this, they mistakenly think the sound is from another dog.

Why do dogs vocalize?

When dogs do communicate, it is for specific purposes. Mainly this is to let other dogs know that they are in the area or in responding to another dog’s howl. Also, dogs use barks and growls to warn away other dogs and animals. They also vocalize to get attention from their owners, much like Charlie seems to do in the video.

Charlie is one smart dog, and his family is lucky to have him, just ask Charlie. Chances are, though, that the only answer you will get out of him is blah, blah, blah. Check out the video below for more of Charlie’s hilarious exchange with his sisters.
