Woman and dog have normal car ride until dog starts performing its favorite song
What’s better than a good carpool karaoke with your best friend? It’s a pretty incredible feeling when it’s just the two of you aimlessly cruising around town singing at the top of your lungs to the radio. It’s true even when your best friend happens to be covered in fur.
One specific dog, Honey can’t seem to get enough of Micheal Jackson.
Honey is rather particular about her Micheal Jackson tunes. She is completely calm until her mom, Melissa Mourelatos turns on one particular song. “Will You Be There” from Free Willy is the song that triggered Honey’s beautiful vocals.
Free Willy is a classic movie from the 90s where a human boy and a killer whale become best friends. It ends when the human boy is able to help Willy get back into the ocean by jumping over a jetty wall.
It seems rather fitting that Honey’s favorite song is from a movie where a human and animals become best friends. Truly a stellar choice for a favorite song. Bravo, Honey.
Because Mourelatos is a good dog mom, she recognized the talent her buddy had and shared it on the internet.
She filmed footage of Honey singing to the song in the car and she shared it on the Facebook group “I Love My Dog.” This particular Facebook Group encourages dog lovers to share videos, pictures and stories of their fluffy friends. “I Love My Dog.” is a good group to join if you’re looking for a place to gush about your companion.
It’s almost like a dog park in cyberspace. People gather together to talk about their dogs and other dogs they see in pure admiration. They also exchange training tips and adorable stories.
There is a lot of content on the group page, but none of it really compares to Honey singing.
She can hit and sustain some pretty high notes!
Ok, so she is a little out of tune, and she can work on eliminating the scoop up to the note, but at least she can hold them for a long time right? It’s better than some of the people I’ve seen at karaoke bars at least.
Honey sure has a passion for singing along! Her howls are different than the chilling howl of a wolf or husky. Instead of sounding haunting, her howls sound joyful and excited. In the video, you can clearly see the second Honey decides to sing along with the King of Pop.
The video is rather short. It only lasts about 45 seconds, but it will put a smile on your face. Maybe you can try singing along with Honey for Ultimate Karaoke!
