One of the worst parts of childhood was when mom or dad would come over to your neighborhood friend’s home and take you back. This dog knows that pain.

Brittany Young loves her dog, Daisy May. The dog loves her as well. But the two always get into the same argument.

Every morning, Daisy May sneaks out of Brittany’s yard. She only ever has one destination in mind: her neighbor’s home. She loves hanging out with the neighbors. Luckily, they love her too. Yet they inevitably need Brittany to pick Daisy May up.

And whenever Brittany loads Daisy May into her car, the dog has a tantrum over it. And the tantrums are so funny that Brittany decided to film one of them.

The video began with Brittany loading Daisy May into her car. The dog looked visibly annoyed.

“You know you’re not supposed to be here, right?” Brittany told Daisy May.

Amazingly, the dog started whining. Daisy May may not have understood the words, but she could understand her owner’s meaning.

Brittany kept on telling Daisy May off, explaining that she was supposed to stay home with her brother. Daisy May looked away guiltily. But then Brittany told her to look at her. The dog reluctantly did so, whining even louder.

“Why don’t you like staying home?” Brittany then asked, and Daisy May shook her head back in answer.

The argument kept on going until the video cut out.

Brittany then uploaded the footage onto YouTube, where it soon went viral. To date, it has gained over 1.5 million views. It has also gained more than 36,000 likes and 3,800 comments. People have been saying things like this:

Daisy May has really become a star. Brittany is a musician, and yet the video of Daisy May being taken home is by far the most popular video on the artist’s YouTube channel!

For Brittany, it’s lucky that Daisy May always has one destination in mind whenever she escapes. Daisy May is quite the escape artist, and no matter how hard the owner tries, nothing can keep the dog in the yard.

However, pet owners that are faced with Daisy May’s predicament can take some measures to keep their dogs on their land.

The Humane Society recommends a range of things. Some of these are related to easing a dog’s desire to escape in the first place by giving them more people time and giving them more toys. Other solutions include tilting a fence inward and burying chicken wire under fences. And of course, the source also recommends spaying and neutering dogs.

Of course, even if Daisy May is successfully kept in the yard in the future, she will still be an argumentative animal! She really was putting up a fuss about having to go home. It’s likely that that fussing will turn to complaining about being in the yard all day, if Daisy is ever successfully contained that is.
