It’s no secret that animals can form incredible bonds with not only us humans, but with each other as well. There are plenty of examples of beautiful dog friendships, and when two dogs hit it off, they’re practically inseparable and will want to spend as much time together as possible.

Two of those best buddies are Aeida, a Staffordshire bull terrier and the dog of the neighboring family, Cashew.

Aeida and Cashew are best friends and both of them see each other every single day.

At first, both families from Melbourne, Australia, arranged playdates with the dogs so that they could hang out together, but then both neighbors decided to make things a little bit easier for their adorable pups.

Both families decided to build a doggy door in their wooden fences so that the pups of these two families could go see other any time they’d like. They didn’t have to wait for their owners to try and arrange a playdate anymore, they could just say ‘hi’ to each other whenever they wanted.

Aeida, in particular, is an incredibly social dog and actually loves spending time with Cashew’s human family as well, especially the little ones.

Luckily, both families don’t mind at all that the dogs enter and leave the house as they please – both Aeida and Cashew are considered to be essential parts of their family.

One day, Aeida’s owners noticed that she wasn’t home. They figured that she would be playing around with Cashew, something that obviously happened more often.

However, that wasn’t the case. In fact, Aeida was more interested in the family’s kids!

The lovely pup absolutely loves the children and vice versa. Nicole Acklehurst, Aeida’s mom, once got a message from the neighbors along with an image of her pup in their filled bathtub! Mom was absolutely shocked and couldn’t believe that her pup was so mischievous, and she was also quite surprised because Aeida usually hates water!

“Aeida is very friendly and loving. She really just loves everyone and anything — especially our neighbors’ children. Our neighbors sent us a Facebook message with Aeida sitting in their bathtub,” Nicole said to The Dodo.

Whenever the children of the neighbors were in the bathtub, Aeida was there to join in on the fun!

And this didn’t just happen once, but every single time! Luckily, nor the children nor their parents mind at all, they consider the pup welcome at any time and the kids love the fact that they can spend their daily bathroom ritual with one of their beloved pup friends.

It’s just absolutely amazing to see how both of these families embrace each other’s pets and treat them as their own.

“She will join them at bathtime at every chance she gets. I’m pretty sure our neighbors love having her over, just as we love having Cashew come over, too. Aeida and Cashew are great friends and have such a strong bond. They’re both considered great parts of our families,” Nicole added.

These two best buddies are simply too cute!
