Dog is upset with mom — until she says the magic words

A family with pets usually considers their animals members of their family. This means that they take part in family celebrations and events, or squabbles in the case of one Newfoundland dog.

The massive dog, named Ralphie, was captured on video disagreeing with his mom, Bee Fisher. Fortunately, she is able to say the magic words and make everything OK.

In the video, Ralphie seems to be upset about something. Maybe she didn’t give him the attention he wanted or some other transgression. Either way, Ralphie wants an apology.

As the video starts, Ralphie can be seen staring off to the side as he sits beside Fisher. He refuses to look at her, which prompts Fisher to ask him what is wrong.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” she asks him in the video. “Are you mad at me?”

Ralphie continues to give her the silent treatment, which pretty much gets the point across that he is upset about something.

Of course, he is not letting her know what’s wrong, only turning to give her a brief glance when she asks, “Did I do something to you?” He then turns to look away with a blank stare on his face.

It is even more obvious now that he is super upset and wants an apology. This continues for a few minutes, but Fisher finally breaks down and tells Ralphie that she is sorry. Hopefully, this will mend any hurt feelings between the two.

And with just those two words, everything is OK once again. Ralphie then proceeds to climb up on Fisher and snuggle with her.

As he gives her a giant hug, you can see the love between the two. At the end of it all, Ralphie is just a big teddy bear and couldn’t stay mad at his mom for very long.

Newfoundlands, like Ralphie, are a massive breed of dog, with adult males weighing in at 170 pounds and standing 28 inches at the shoulder when they are fully grown. With a sweet temperament, Newfoundlands make great companion animals and are especially good with children.

Bee Fischer and her family post about their two Newfoundland dogs on their YouTube channel. There you can find a variety of videos about the adventures of Fisher, her husband, their three sons, and their dogs. Ralphie and his brother, Boss, also have an Instagram page.

In addition to their everyday life in their home in California, the Fisher family, including their massive dogs, like to travel all over the United States. Visit their Website for their blog, which details the family’s cross-country road trip in a 34-foot RV.
