Mom lets dogs out to play and they come back with a new baby brother

Having dogs in the home is an absolute delight, something that every loving dog owner will definitely confirm.

There’s a reason why canines are called a man’s best friend, and if you shower them with love and affection, you’ll be sure to get that back tenfold.

Sara Nisevic’s house is filled with adorable, energetic fireballs who love to spend time outside.

One day, her dogs met a new friend in the front yard and it’s an encounter they definitely won’t forget.

Sara checked on her pups after they were outside for a while.

She’ll usually watch her pooches having the utmost fun together, but this time, they decided to share the excitement with another four-footer.

There was a little brown dog with them, a little bit timid but incredibly cute and affectionate.

She didn’t recognize the brown pooch at all, and she actually knew all of the neighbors’ dogs because she lives in quite a rural area.

“As soon as we went out to say hi to the dog, he ran towards us and started asking for pets and kisses,” the dog owner mentioned to The Dodo. “I felt an instant bond with him and knew that this was our dog.”

Because she was very much in an “everyone knows everyone around here” area, she immediately suspected that this adorable, small four-footer wasn’t lost.

Sadly, it wouldn’t have been the first time that someone dumped a dog around there, and that’s exactly what Sara suspected had happened.

“We live in the middle of nowhere, and we know all the dogs in the valley,” she said. “The area is unfortunately known for dumping dogs.”

The connection this strange pup had with both Sara and her other dogs was both incredible and undeniable.

Hello Internet! – Love, Strudel

A post shared by Der Strudel Strudel Jelen (@der_strudel) on

She didn’t hesitate to take care of the pup or to give him a name: Strudel.

While she tried to figure out where he came from, she took him in and made him feel absolutely welcome at the family home.

Strudel was already pretty much best friends with the other pups, and he felt completely safe and content. And you definitely don’t have to take our word for it – just take a look at these absolutely adorable pictures of Strudel and his new best friends.

“Strudel is very polite and was polite from the second we met him,” she recalls. “When called to come inside, he was hesitant at first, but as soon as he was in, he made himself right at home.”

Sara started posting in local social media groups, asked around in the neighborhood, and went with him to a vet to check whether or not he had a microchip, but all to no avail.

No one seemed to have lost this four-footer, or at least, no one really cared.

Someone who did care, however, was Sara’s pooch Srna. She’s an older rescue dog, and she seemed especially fond of Strudel.

Sara then decided to make a new, larger dog bed that would the both of them, just to make sure that Strudel would feel as comfortable as possible during the night as well.

“Since then, they’ve slept in that bed together every night,” Sara recalls.

Little update for everyone: Strudel ran away two weeks ago and we were close to giving up as we searched for him for days, even used a drone to go over this area to find him. But as we talked with a lot of people in the village to let them know we are looking for Strudel, today we got a call that he came to a backyard 2-3 miles away from us and they are keeping him for us. We jumped in our car, went to get him, he was weird at start, even little jumpy at us. But he jumped in the car straight away and when we got home it was like he never went. He is happy, playing with Srna and couldn't wait to get to his old bed. He is with us again, we are crazy happy and he will be chipped on us and neutred next week. Thank you to everyone that is followimg the story ❤
