Brego and Nami are beautiful Weimeriners whose lives were about to be turned upside down in 2016 when their owners got pregnant. But these dogs couldn’t have been more excited.

The world watched as their owners – who have dedicated an Instagram page to their beautiful brood – shared photos of the pups listening to mom’s tummy and feeling their future brother kick.

Dogs can react in lots of different ways to an owner’s pregnancy, not all of them positive. They notice changes in human behavior and energy and can become more protective and clingy or more anxious. But Brego and Nami seemed pretty stoked to be getting a new family member!

The couple announced they were pregnant in May of 2016 with a post that simply said: “And then another heartbeat joins the pack” along with this photo.

And once the couple’s son – known on social media only as “the little Jedi” to keep his information private – was born, the dogs were in heaven.

In late August of that year, mom posted this photo of Brego and Nami meeting the baby for the first time, remarking that the moment couldn’t have gone any better.

Both dogs also took their sibling responsibilities very seriously, attempting helpful tasks like changing diapers.

They never quite got the hang of it, but it’s the thought that counts, right?

By September, all three were like peas in a pod and clearly enjoying each other’s company.

The baby tolerated his pets with ease and the dogs appeared to be the perfect combination of chill and protective.

Of this photo, mom wrote:

“Brego, Nami and our little jedi’s relationship is getting stronger every day so they often share sweet moments like this 😍. A common worry of parents to be is how their dogs will react when they bring a new family member into the house, we’ve tried to do it in the most natural way we could!”

It was pretty clear that the only problem in this house would be a potential cuteness overload.

And lucky for this family, who lives in Barcelona, baby and dogs all had one common hobby that kept them thick as thieves – napping!

In fact, the little Jedi seems to have preferred napping with one of his furry buddies.

The parents posted a video and licensed it to the animal website The Dodo about 3 years ago showing how the dogs had reacted to their pregnancy and then the addition of their baby.

Since that time, it’s been viewed over 44 million times! (You can see it down below.)

And over the past few years, that relationship hasn’t changed – everyone is still enjoying one another’s company and are BFFs.

Last summer the family even wondered in a caption if they had “three children or three Weimaraners.”

Who’s influencing who the most here?

Of course, the Internet exploded with mostly friendly responses to the photos and video. It seems like almost everyone is a fan of these pups and their tiny human companion.
