Some people dream of having more freedom in life but are unsure how to do it.

Dane Eyerly used to be one of these folks until he finally realized what he and his family needed.

The man decided to transform a double-decker bus into a home that would fit a family of eight.

It was a decision that he does not regret at all.

Dane researched how this option could help them as well.

As a remote employee in the software field, Dane can work from anywhere, anytime.

It was the perfect scenario for someone dreaming of living on the road.

Having a smaller home with fewer expenses to look after, Dane knew that living on a bus would significantly aid them in being more financially free.

Of course, it would not be fun without his family so he took his wife and six kids with him.

The change was something they all loved and looked forward to.

After completing the stunning double-decker home on wheels, Dane shared the news on their YouTube channel.

The home tour video Dane uploaded has racked up more than 15 million views!

It is not surprising because their new home is definitely lovely and everyone agrees.

Dane shared the true story of why they decided to live on the road, too.

“The real reason we wanted to try something new, so drastically different from something we’ve done before, is we felt so tied down to chasing money for happiness. Thinking the more money we made, the better job title I had, the happier we would be. But ultimately, chasing that money meant more time spent away from the family,” the father-of-six shared.

It was on a road trip from Utah to Texas with his wife when they both realized that this was something they would enjoy.

The couple began to look for the right RV, but they ultimately realized that transforming a double-decker bus was their best choice.

They immediately worked on it and now, the transformation is finally complete and Dane gives a house tour for everyone online.

The man introduced their home’s toilets and showers.

They had two separate toilets built along with one full-sized shower with cedar walls.

The kids each have bunk beds that can be customized based on the children’s preferences.

They also have their own area at the back of the bus wherein all of their homeschooling supplies and materials are stored.

In the same place, Dane and his wife’s king-size bed is situated so the kids can use it as a play area as well.

The couple also shared their search for the perfect temperature which is also another reason why they love living on the road.

“Our plan is to chase 70-degrees. We don’t like cold weather, we don’t like hot weather. 70 degrees is the ideal, wherever that takes us,” Dane said.

The kitchen is also a beauty, with a big sink and a nice farm-inspired interior.

The family gets to eat home-cooked meals because the kitchen is fully-furnished and big enough to accommodate their cooking needs.

Another incredible portion of the home on wheels is the roof deck which also serves as the private movie place they all love to be in.

What a great way to spend time, while lying underneath the stars!
