A double face mask hack will leave your face crazy soft and glowing

We all dream of having perfectly smooth skin.

It can be hard to figure out a good routine for your skin type. That’s why some people spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on skincare hoping to reach that picture-perfect skin look. Drinking lots of water and taking care of your skin using moisturizers can really do the trick. But while we’re in quarantine being inside isn’t really the greatest for our skin.

Thankfully, a renowned esthetician from New York City shared her tips to keep beautifully moisturized skin while in quarantine. Sarah Karaolides is one of the best skincare gurus and she shared her secrets on a simple and time-effective skin routine.

Sarah explained to Motherly,

It’s time to break out your favorite skin masks and get your glow on! Sarah shows us her step by step process to buttery smooth skin.

Step 1: Apply

You’ll want to start with cleansed and dry skin. Then spread a layer of your favorite clay or charcoal mask on your skin to clean pores and remove any dead skin cells on the surface. Once applied to your face and neck wait until it’s fully dried.

Step 2: Remove

Use a damp washcloth to remove the dried mask. Make sure you’re using gentle wiping motions and not pulling your skin. The more gentle you are the better.

Step 3: Apply Sheet Mask

Place hydrating serum sheet mask over your face. If there’s any dripping serum massage into your neck and chest.

Step 4: Massage

Now using a face roller or even a spoon, you want to gently smooth the sheet mask onto your face. You’ll want to use upward/outward motions. To reduce puffiness you can put your face roller or spoon in the fridge before massaging. Leave your now massaged mask on for 15-20 mins and unwind.

Step 5: Soak It Up

When times up remove the sheet mask and pat any serum left in your skin. Then you’ll apply any brightening or anti-aging serums onto your cleansed face. You want to make sure you’re not rubbing into your skin but you’re patting gently to let your skin soak up all the nutrients.

Step 5: Moisturize

Last but not least, it’s time to lock in all of those awesome nutrients with your moisturizer and eye cream. Your skin will thank you later! TADA now you’re so fresh and so clean.
