Mom spears chicken drumsticks over toothpicks in potatos for a sumptuous meal

The recipe we’re sharing today could be one of the most unique ways to cook drumsticks.

Not just unique, but tasty, too.

Main ingredients:

  • 9 chicken drumsticks
  • Salt
  • Marjoram
  • Paprika
  • Paprika Mixture
  • Ginger Powder
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • Lemon (cut in half for the juice)
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 4 Potatoes

For Salad:

  • Cucumber
  • 1 Tomato
  • Salad Mix
  • 3 Teblespoon Olive Oil
  • Lemon Juice
  • 100 grams Feta

Get a small bowl and mix salt, marjoram, paprika mixture, ginger, garlic, olive oil, and lemon to make a marinade, mix well.

Line drumsticks in an inverse pattern.

Line up the Drumsticks where each tip is on the opposite side of the other.

Pour the marinade on top of the drumsticks as evenly as possible.

Massage your way through the surface of each piece until the drumstick is covered with marinade. Do this to all of the drumsticks.

Add drumsticks to a big bowl.

Cover with cling film and let it sit for 30 to 40 minutes so the marinade gets absorbed.

While waiting, peel off your potato and cut each side to make a flat surface as the base.

Then cut the potato in half. Do this to all of them.

Make sure to prepare the same number of potato bases as your drumsticks.

Place potato bases in a big bowl.

Pour in salt and vegetable oil. Mix until the salt and oil are well incorporated and the potatoes are covered with them.

Get your baking tray and place a wax paper or baking paper. Then place each potato into the tray.

Stick 3 toothpicks in each potato forming a triangle.

With the drumstick properly set, get one and place it on top of each potato, with the larger part pierced on the toothpicks.

Do this on all of the drumsticks.

Preheat the oven to 390℉.

Then bake the drumsticks for 30-35 minutes.

e while waiting. Get the cucumber and slice it lengthwise. Then make thin slices crosswise. Place them in a big bowl.

Cut one tomato in half.

Then cut it again in the middle, lengthwise, before slicing it with thin cuts. Do the same for the other half. Place in the bowl with the cucumber.

Add in your salad mix, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix well.

Get the feta and cut it into smaller cubes. Add them into the bowl and mix to incorporate.

After 30 minutes, remove the drumsticks from the oven and use the remaining marinade sauce to brush through each of them.

Place the tray back in oven.

Bake the drumsticks for another 15 to 20 minutes at 390℉.

For the final preparation, get a clean plate and remove the drumstick from the toothpicks.

Add the salad mixture on the side with the potatoes used as bases.
