Venturing into YouTube or being a YouTuber is one of the sought-after platforms or avenues for aspiring influencers at this day and age. These content creators struggle every single day to ensure that the materials they put out set them apart from others, hoping to be unique and original. They want to standout on their own way.

But this duo decided to strip the concept down and it turned out to be very authentic and remarkable without any additional gimmicks.

Josh Turner is a well-known young guitarist from Brooklyn, New York. With more than 450,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, he has uploaded song covers from various artists.

Since he was set to have a tour through the states down to Nashville, he thought it is about time he reach out to someone he knew and followed on YouTube.

Josh contacted Allison Young and proposed to do a collaboration on a duet.

Allison uploads covers of popular songs with a twist, her own retro style rendition. Her channel has 30,000 subscribers.

She may be young but you would not miss her being an old soul through her music style.

With just a microphone and an acoustic guitar, everything is set. They just sat on a couch next to a window and played their music.

It is such a sight to see a young pair of musicians celebrating an old classic masterpiece!

This kind of act can actually be educational for the younger audience as they are sharing their passion and at the same time, introducing some of the greatest hits from previous generations. Not to mention, with a very modern and relatable approach to it.

Her intoxicating vocals complement Josh’s polished guitar skills.

They started it off with a whistle then Allison took over by doing her solo.

Despite being in her early twenties, she was able to pull off a very vintage sound as if she has lived in the 1950s.

And she did not forget to set the overall vibe with her outfit too!

For the most part, Allison was singing the verses when all of a sudden, Josh took the stage and showed off his smooth vocals for the final chorus.

To hear them sing together is such a lovely and beautiful thing to witness.

They ended the performance with the same whistle until the final strum and then giggled together, saying “I think that was the one.”

Just by the looks of it, anyone would know how hard it is to manage that tune by whistling.

It is written all over their faces that they are satisfied with the end result.

Josh and Allison’s duet has captured the hearts of the viewers with some even requesting the duo to produce an album together.

Listening to their viewers’ requests, they have recorded more collaborations together. The pair’s strong chemistry is just undeniable.
