For all my people who don’t like coffee, we have you covered!

Some people in this world don’t like coffee. While that breaks my heart, it is your decision and choice, even if it is the wrong one. Thankfully, this recipe has some built-in flexibility. You can make it plain with no espresso and caffeine, OR you can add a shot for some extra kick. That’s what makes this recipe great! You can make it exactly how you like.

The flavors in the recipe are also able to be changed, added or adjusted!

One of the main ingredients in the recipe is the French Vanilla syrup. This is the main flavor component, but you can substitute this with whatever syrup you want! If you don’t have a French Vanilla, you could always use half hazelnut and half vanilla to make a similar flavor.

Let’s get started on your delicious drink!

There are only a few ingredients, so it’s super easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • French Vanilla syrup (or whatever flavor you want to make this)
  • Whipped cream
  • sugar
  • half and half
  • Ice
  • Sprinkles (for fun)

Now we can get to the fun part…Making it!

If you want to get extra, you can use xanthan gum as a binding agent!

Xantham gum is a binding agent that keeps the water, half and half, fat, and sugars from separating. You will notice this happening as you let your drink sit out. You can add a bit of xanthan to get a silky smooth texture that holds together a bit longer. This is a good investment if you are going to be making these a lot! It is similar to a chemical that Starbucks uses to keep their drinks cohesive.
