Not all people are the same. Although there’s a lot of good human beings out there, some are just plain rude. They think that everything’s about them and they don’t care about how others feel.

One Reddit user shared her experience with a really rude mother.

Pretent_its_witty is offering free swimming lessons to kids. Since it’s a really critical life skill, a lot of moms reached out to her for help. One of them was super awful.

The single mother’s approach was less than delightful.

She reached out to the instructor but it’s different than what most moms did. She was rude and acted entitled.

She sent a message to the instructor.

The lady clarified if the lessons were really free. As a single mother, she made it clear that she can’t afford to pay.

When the instructor failed to reply right away, the woman started acting rude.

The instructor made it clear that she can’t respond quickly because she was at work. Unfortunately, the mother failed to understand it.

She called the instructor rude.

Apart from that, she also insisted that the instructor give her a definite time for her son’s lessons. And she wanted it to be scheduled on the same day.

The single mom made other ridiculous requests.

The instructor informed her that she can’t do swimming lessons that day because she already canceled on everyone else. She wasn’t feeling too good and wanted to take that day off.

The mom considered it not fair.

For her, the other kids already had so many lessons. It was time that the instructor focuses on her child and do exclusive swimming lessons.

The instructor made it clear that she won’t do lessons that day.

The mom became fuming mad. She said that her kid will be very upset. According to her, he has anxiety issues and that’s why he has to be taught alone.

Worried about the kid’s safety, the instructor replied that she won’t be teaching the kid anymore.

The mom’s response to this was ridiculous. She resorted to name-calling and even threatened the instructor. She said she’ll just throw her son into the pool and if the instructor fails to show up, she’ll be responsible for everything.

And that’s not the most absurd part.

After everything, she said:

“they are ready to give money and you don’t need money. do you know how much I need that money? I am a single mom. you should get the money from them and give it to me.”

The conversation earned a lot of negative comments.

One Reddit user said:

“Sounds like death threats. Should report to police or else the kid who can’t swim will drown in a pool too deep for him tomorrow at 1pm and probably 2 minutes.”

Another one commented:

“Wow, I lost it when she was gonna throw the kid into the pool and then blame you if he drowns.”

There was also this Reddit user who can’t find a sane explanation for the rude lady’s behavior. She said:

“She’s totally crazy, what is wrong with people that they think this is acceptable??”
