These scrap metal sculptures are created using old farm equipment and rustic metals, that carry deep history in them

John Lopez is a rancher from Northwestern South Dakota, who’s family has land scattered along the Grand River. For generations, they’ve run their ranches by the sweat off of their brow and hard work. John is no stranger to ranch-life, his specialty is taming wild horses and perfecting their bloodlines.

Throughout the years, John has displayed some awesome artistry aswell. He started off by making clay sculptures of the Colts he loves so much, which evolved into statues sculpted from old farm equipment to make metallic animals come to life.
