Charming farmhouse-style tiny home has a two stories and a walk-in closet
Tiny homes are the obsession of this century, and it’s easy to see why.
Tiny home living is much more affordable (it’s mortgage-free!), and far better for the environment. Living in a tiny home means you can spend less on maintenance, use less energy, and have a much smaller space to clean – winner.
Even if you don’t plan to live in your own tiny home, you can’t deny that it’s fun to look at other people’s.
There are so many TV shows dedicated to showcasing tiny homes nowadays, and some of them are big moneymakers.
Take Recreational Resort Cottages is a YouTube channel that features the brand’s tiny homes that are on display right now – so if you were interested after watching the video, you could go ahead and splash the cash.
Well – if you had at least $50,000 to spend, you could.
One of the brand’s most popular videos features a farmhouse-style RV park model tiny home.
From the front, the house is pretty unassuming – it looks like many tiny homes, with a shaded porch area, and two floors.
It’s the inside of this home that’s really worth checking out. According to the host, it was the first 295 square foot tiny home to be made with a walk-in closet.
If you’re wondering how a tiny home can fit in a walk-in closet, this model really isn’t so small.
We’ve seen tiny homes that are so cramped that only a single person can fit within certain areas. But despite its relatively small footprint, this home is spacious and airy.
The farmhouse-style design features work really well in this space. In the front entrance, large windows let in plenty of light, and there’s a glass front door, which offers great views of nature.
Moving onto the kitchen, you’ll be impressed by the size of this space.
Fitted with white cabins, an oven, microwave and a double fridge, the kitchen has everything that even an enthusiastic chef could want.
Many tiny homes have space-saving kitchens with very little side space, but not this home. The stainless steel farmhouse sink is a great size, too, and there’s even a pantry tucked away at the back of the kitchen.
The bathroom is more compact, but still fairly roomy, with a large tile shower.
Through a pocket door is the master bedroom, which is a blank canvas at the moment, aside from a handy pre-installed AC unit.
Leading off from the bedroom is a utility space for a double washer and dryer – and around the corner is the walk-in closet.
Who said you’d have to get rid of most of your belongings to live in a tiny home?
Up the stairs is a large, airy loft space, which might just be the best room of the house.
Again, you could use this space however you liked. At the moment, it’s fitted with some storage units along the back wall, and there’s an elevated section that could be perfect for a bed.
Amazingly, the cost of this home is only $64,000.
Of course, there’d be additional costs to consider, too, such as transportation and installation – but what a steal!
If you’re considering moving into a tiny home but you’re not sure, this home is a great in-between option.
