Child comedy sketches are almost always funny, just not ha ha funny. But these two fifth graders really made the whole room laugh.

When two children in fifth grade learned that there was a talent show coming up, they saw it as an opportunity to show off their creativity.

So they devised a comedic routine that involved onesies, a box, a bedsheet and some music. The results must be seen to be believed.

The performance began with the curtains drawing back and the girls’ heads and arms poking through the sheet that was covering the box.

They were wearing the top half of the onesies, with the bottom halves stuffed with something to imitate the rest of their bodies. People were already laughing at just this sight.

Then the song Kung Fu Fighting, which needs no introduction, started playing. The two girls lifted their heads to the crowd with the song.

Then they stretched out their arms into a prayer position. As they did this, their “legs” also stretched out somehow. They kept on assuming kung fu positions for the opening of the song.

When the song kicked in, they really started moving, chopping and dancing their arms and fake bodies to the beat.

The two girls then started imitating a slapping fight as the Kung Fu Fighting song faded out.

Then Happy by Pharrell Williams started playing, and the girls started dancing to this song.

A little later, this song faded out, and another one faded in. Gangnam Style by Psy started playing next, and the girls’ dancing started resembling the dance in the song’s music video.

The next song up was Single Ladies by Beyonce. Again, the girls started dancing to the song. By now everyone in the room was laughing heartily.

When that song ended, the girls added a whole new element to their skit. They both put on sunglasses. What was going to play next?

The hip hop song Soulja Boy Tell’em by Soulja Boy started playing.

The girls kept on dancing to this. When the lyrics mentioned Superman, they both grabbed their fake legs and twisted them to the side, making it look like they were flying.

The hip hop theme carried on with the song All I Do Is Win by DJ Khaled.

This was the last song, and at the end of the routine, one of the girls lifted up her body and let the other one catch it.

The crowd cheered. It was a strange yet hilarious performance, and people wanted more.

One of the girls’ fathers was filming the entire skit. He then uploaded the footage to YouTube. He was pleasantly surprised when the video went viral. To date, the skit has gained almost 7 million views. It also has over 49,000 likes and 5,800 comments. People have been saying things like this:

It’s crazy to think that two fifth graders came up with something like this. After this video appeared on YouTube, many copycat performances started popping up. But it all started thanks to these two girls. With creativity like this, the girls could go on to become an incredibly successful comedy duo.
