Country music and line dancing seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly. But, line dancing originally was danced to folk music. Which bloomed the style called contra dancing where dancers form two parallel lines while everyone moves in sequence and switching dance partners down the line.
It can definitely be difficult to get the hang of especially if you’re trying to mirror all of the other dancers around you.
But line dancing does have a way of bringing everyone together from the experienced dancers to the newer dancers. Everyone can learn, all you need is a supportive team and lots of practice. These 5 line dancers were up for the challenge!
