Fluffy Bernese mountain dog casually walks on weatherman’s set and steals the show
Most people look forward to the daily weather to know how to plan their day.
But if a big fluffy dog brings in the news for the day, well, even better.
This dog delivered a weather “pupdate”.
Josh Judge was delivering the weather update for New Hampshire when a dog walked in behind him.
Josh is a meteorologist who has been in the broadcasting business for many years.
He has been known in his profession by the people of New England and was selected as “Best TV Weathercaster” for a long time.
He’s a pro, but still playful.
Despite the incident, he was quick enough to think of ways to make light of the situation.
In the middle of his report, he was stunned to see a dog walking in front of the green screen.
“It’s not the dog days of the summer just yet…” he said while delivering the news about the sunny weather for that day.
The weatherman paused for a split second to take note of what he had just seen.
The studio audience rumbled with laughter.
Even the people at the studio made fun of what they just saw, and their laughs were caught in the background.
Apparently, the black-and-white dog is owned by his co-anchor, Amy Covena.
Amy brought in her dog Bella for the segment with the veterinarians.
However, it seems like Bella was not informed about her cue for when to join the program.
Bella acts as if she was ready to be on cam anytime and casually walked in on Josh during the live telecast.
Amy was surprised when she learned about the incident.
She’d made an innocent mistake.
The WUMR anchor was afraid her co-worker would get mad because of what her dog did.
But Judge didn’t mind at all.
He was able to maneuver smoothly through his news and the sight of the big dog on the set.
The video of Josh Judge and Bella went viral with over 800,000 views.
Bella’s cameo is something notable throughout Josh’s career as a weatherman.
After being in the news industry for many years, he now works as a real estate agent.
Josh Judge could not resist his love for broadcasting, so he still works part-time as a newsman.
Bella kicked things up a notch.
Let’s admit it, Bella definitely put a different spin on things when she showed up unexpectedly.
No wonder she instantly became a star despite the short period of her appearance.
After the incident, Josh took it on his Twitter what happened and made fun of it.
On the other hand, Amy replied: “And this is why we don’t allow dogs in the studio…Thank you for rolling with it @joshjudgewmur“
Many people appreciated the refreshing presence of a pet like Bella in the workplace.
One of the comments on Twitter said, “We all need cats and dogs at work.”
