Fluffy husky melts major hearts wrapping up baby “sister” in adorable hug before nap
Dogs and babies have special relationships.
Humans have been raising dogs to be companions since the dawn of time, so it’s no surprise that dogs are good at comforting babies.
In fact, humans have harnessed this dog-baby bond for years.
It’s believed that dogs were used as babysitters even before they could be trained to herd sheep or protect homes from intruders.
Dogs are protective of human babies.
This is especially true among huskies.
They’re well-known for their love of human affection, which is why it’s no surprise that the husky in this video melted hearts when he went out of his way to snuggle with his baby sister during her nap.
Since Daisy was born, Millie the husky has been by her side.
They have a special bond.
Daisy is well-protected by Millie. Daisy also feels the same way about Millie.
As soon as she sees her, she laughs and smiles. Despite the fact that Millie is a huge, fluffy dog, Daisy is not at all intimidated.
“Daisy, our baby gets so excited when she sees my husky Millie! They love each other so much and just want to cuddle,” Daisy’s parents shared. “They always fall asleep together.”
They believe Millie thinks she’s “mom”.
“I think my husky thinks my baby is her puppy,” she fondly shared.
Dogs form strong bonds with babies they spend a lot of time with and are “smitten” with infants.
A dog is said to be wonderful for kids.
Dogs cheer up newborns and increase dopamine and serotonin levels.
A baby’s immune system can be strengthened by growing up with a dog as well.

Maybe it’s all those doggy kisses?
When a dog does smell or lick a baby’s face or bottom, it is really doing so to assess the baby’s well-being.
Mother dogs frequently engage in this behavior with their puppies.
This is when dogs become protective.

Babies are more vulnerable, and dogs can feel this.
Dogs will guard their pack, which in certain circumstances includes their people, and will also take care of the weakest members.
In order to defend it, a female dog would mother a human infant as if it were her own.
Millie will immediately sit on Daisy’s lap.
And Daisy’s not at all bothered.

Daisy relaxed to the point that she and her closest friend had a peaceful slumber.
Daisy was even given special attention by Millie as she slept. She encircled Daisy with her paws to make her feel comfortable.
