Ford has decided to use its cutting-edge noise-canceling technology to create a very special kennel for dogs.

The said hi-tech kennel is equipped with their latest technology that will keep our beloved canine calm during loud celebrations such as the 4th of July.

Oh, did we already mention that this kennel is also very stylish?

However, the Ford Quiet Kennel is just a prototype. If given the chance, it could be a game-changer to both dog and pet owners.

According to Ford:

“The idea was inspired by the noise-cancelling technology that Ford has introduced to the Edge SUV, that helps to ensure quieter journeys for drivers and passengers. When microphones pick up high levels of noise from the engine or transmission, this is counteracted using opposing sound waves from the car’s audio system.”

Ford explained that they are using the same cutting-edge technology that they use for headsets and cars. It works by emitting opposing frequencies when the built-in microphones detect loud noise outside.

The results?

The opposing frequencies, in turn, would cancel the noise completely or reduce it to the point that the dog inside the kennel would remain calm.

If you think that’s all the Ford Quiet Kennel has to offer, then you’d be glad to know that it also has an automatic door that will allow your dog to go inside and rest anytime.
