If you’re someone who watches “America’s Got Talent”, then you’ve probably seen it all, from traditional acts to more puzzling, out-of-the-box ones. While there are performances that make your jaw drop, there are some that just leave you confused. That doesn’t make it any less awesome, though. You can just imagine how much time and effort people put into mastering their chosen crafts.

That sort of dedication doesn’t go unrewarded, either.

An opportunity to appear in the widely televised talent show is great for exposure – add to that overwhelming feedback from the judges and the audience.

It takes a lot to earn standing ovations, but how incredible do you have to be in order to deserve the Golden Buzzer?

According to the “America’s Got Talent” fandom page, the Golden Buzzer is a concept that was introduced in season 9 of the show.

The catch is, judges are allowed to press it only once for the entire season. When a judge hits the Golden Buzzer during a talent’s performance, it signifies automatic qualification for the next round regardless of how the other judges vote.

Initially used as a tie-breaker, the Golden Buzzer ended up bringing greater opportunities for talents to move on straight to the live shows.

To give you an idea of what it’s like to be worthy of the Golden Buzzer, meet contestant Léa Kyle.

The 25-year-old beautician is passionate about two things: fashion and performing. Her love for the latter convinced her to try out for the popular talent show.

Nervous yet ready to wow the crowd, you can sense Léa’s eagerness as she takes her place onstage. The judges, excited to see what the young act has in store, were nothing but encouraging as she got ready.

The music began to play as Léa walked over to a black curtain and pulled it across her body. Is it a magic trick? Ventriloquy? Dancing? Miming?

None of the above.

As the curtain drops, everyone is surprised to see Léa wearing a totally different outfit!

Moving from prop to prop, Léa begins to switch from one costume to another… fast.

What makes changing clothes special? The mind-boggling speed, that’s what. How is it even possible? Apart from the quickness of her movements, Léa displayed evident confidence too as she moved about on stage. You can tell she was born to perform, however unconventional her act may be.

The judges had nothing but praises for the young chameleon but it was Heidi Klum who brought the biggest shock of all.

She hit the Golden Buzzer!

In complete disbelief at what just happened, Léa broke down in tears. Glitter rained down on the gorgeous talent as Heidi gave her a big hug. We love that this opportunity also means we’ll get to see more of Léa again! Wonder what she’ll do next?
