Foxes are beautiful animals found in many countries around the world. Closely related to dogs, they’re instantly recognizable with their long bushy tails and pointed ears, and we sometimes spot them running around in the wild or sniffing through trash in search of food.

As well as the many wild foxes out there, there are also domestic foxes which are bred in captivity.

Sadly, many domestic foxes are used in fur farms, killed to make high end fashion items, or kept as pets by people who don’t really know how to look after them. Fortunately, wonderful organizations like Save A Fox work to help and protect these domestic foxes.

Save A Fox was founded by Mikayla Raines in central Minnesota. Mikayla and several other women work to save foxes from fur farms or other unsafe situations, giving them a second chance at life.

They’ve saved around 150 foxes so far and often share videos on their YouTube channel of the various furry friends they look after.

One of those videos has gone viral, showing a super cute fox named Finnegan desperately trying to get his mama’s attention on one cold and frosty night.

The fox, whose name is Finnegan, can be seen pawing at the window and peeking through, trying to see his friend and get her to go outside and play with him.

Even though the weather is freezing cold and night has fallen, the woman filming the clip just can’t resist Finnegan’s charms.

She heads to the door, puts on her boots, and steps outside, where the happy fox is waiting to greet her.

Right away, little Finnegan seems so happy to see his mama, making a happy little laughing sound and gazing up into her eyes as she pets his head.

“Hi! Were you looking through the window? Did you miss me?” says the woman as little Finnegan continues to make his funny little giggling sound. The mom then jokes that she’d let him into the house if she could, but knows he would just pee everywhere, including all over her bed!

Luckily, he doesn’t seem to mind spending the night outside, especially when he’s getting some cuddles and kisses from one of his very best friends.

Another fox named Dixie can also be seen during the video, chilling out in the background while Finnegan gets all the fuss and attention.

Later on, little Finnegan lifts up his chin to let his mama groom the matted and tangled fur along his neck.

Out in the wild, foxes groom one another with their tongues, but domestic foxes aren’t always able to learn this habit, so their owners have to take care of their fur instead.

The woman does a great job of untangling some of Finnegan’s fur, adorably saying how much she loves him and giving him lots of loving snuggles along the way.

At one point, just before the mom is about to go back inside, it seems like Finnegan senses that his snuggle time is nearly over and places his arm on hers to try and stop her from leaving.

It’s just too cute for words! But mama can’t stay out all night and eventually has to go back indoors.

Moments later, she sees Finnegan’s head pop up at the window once more. It seems like this fussy fox just can’t get enough love. Check out the adorable video for yourself down below.
