The baby in this video had no idea what his dad was up to. But he was determined to find out!

Many parents get shocked at just how opinionated babies can be, especially as babies are so new to the world.

One video perfectly highlights the bossiness of babies. And it’s hilarious.

It begins with the baby sitting on his dad’s lap. He is wide-eyed and stares around the room.

The dad then smells his baby’s hair. The baby can tell that the dad is doing something odd, so he turns around and stares up at his dad.

His dad looks away, as if he weren’t doing anything. But the baby is not convinced. He keeps on staring at him, his eyes accusing him.

Then the dad stares down at his son. The two maintain eye contact in a surprisingly tense standoff.

Eventually, the dad asks, “What?” in an attempt to diffuse the situation. But the baby isn’t having it. His staring, accusing eyes stay on his father.

“Mind your business,” states the dad. But the baby still stares at him.

After the dad asks, “Can I help you?” the baby finally turns away from him. The dad wastes no time and smells his baby’s hair once more.

Right away, the baby turns back to the dad and stares up at him. This time, his expression is even more intense.

The dad turns away again.

This time, the baby doesn’t maintain his gaze. He turns away from the dad.

As soon as the baby’s head is turned, the dad goes in to smell his son’s hair for a third time.

And again, the baby turns back to the dad. This time, he turns away from the dad quickly but turns straight back around, hoping to catch the dad.

The baby sees his dad turn away rapidly. So the baby decides to keep staring at him. Whatever he’s doing needs to stop, it seems. But then he turns away again.

Soon, the baby is turning back and forth rapidly. He is determined to catch his father. But the dad is determined to get away with it!

Eventually, the video cuts out. But it’s likely that this scene kept on playing out for hours!

The baby’s bossiness could mean that he is gifted.
