Garbage collector is totally clueless dog’s owner is filming him
Meet Lily, the Labrador. She’s quite a friendly pup, but she is having a hard time finding a best friend.
Well, at least that was a couple of years ago.
Lily now has David and he is one of the sweetest guys ever. He constantly shows up for Lily and never even misses a playdate.

Just like any other dog, Lily is one who loves to be around people.
In fact, one of her favorite things to do is to watch people from her home’s yard.
She would sit by the fence for the most part of the day and just watch folks going by.

Apparently, not everyone in the neighborhood is friendly to a dog like her.
She would certainly enjoy a visit every now and then, or at least a friendly pat on her head.
Lily is not asking for much, but everyone seems to be so busy to play with her.
It’s a good thing that Lily is such a smart dog.
She noticed that every Thursday, someone would always bring the trash by the fence, and on the next day, a person would pass by to pick up the garbage.
Lily started to wait for the weekly visit of the garbage man, who happens to be the kind of guy who really loves dogs.
David saw Lily once and knew he met such a treasure.
Since she learned about David’s weekly visits to the house, Lily would always sit by the fence and wait for her new best friend.
With her infectious smile and incredible looks, David could not resist approaching the dog and patting her on the head.
It was something that Lily hoped for and when she saw that David was friendly with her, she grabbed the chance and charmed him some more.
Every week, Lily would stay by the gate and look for her friend, David.
She hopped in happiness whenever the garbage truck drove by their house!
David would always show up to their weekly playdates and constantly enjoy a few minutes of bonding with the sweet dog.
Little did David and Lily know, someone from the house caught on to this newfound friendship between the two and filmed them secretly as they enjoyed another playdate together.
It was Lily’s owner, Ishaan Chatterjee, and he is quite awed at the incredible friendship that his dog and David have created over their weekly bonding moments.
He shared with The Dodo:
“Their relationship has blossomed into the sweetest thing. We actually give [our garbage man] holiday gifts every year to show our appreciation for how he treats Lily.”
Well, the video of them together which Ishaan filmed and uploaded on TikTok is solid proof of the two having a great friendship.
They sure looked happy to be with each other, but that could also be because of the treats that David would always have in his pockets.
He definitely knows Lily’s love for treats and this is another reason why he is such a special friend for the lovely Labrador.
