After a German Shepherd had been separated from its owner for months, her reaction to being reunited with him was just heart-wrenching.

This wonderful dog was so overjoyed to see her owner again that she simply went over the moon with happiness.

As Freya exited through the backdoor she heard her dad’s voice call out to her.

Freya is not able to sit still as she is reunited with her dad. The sounds she makes as she spins around in circles to greet him seem to express equal parts love, joy, and exhaustion. After going so long without seeing her beloved human, she is simply overwhelmed with positive feelings as they are reunited.

Freya’s tail wagged uncontrollably as her excitement could not be contained. Finally, she collapses into the lap of her dad and gives in for what must have been a very emotional belly rub. For this moment, there is no denying that Freya is the happiest dog in the entire world.

Freya’s adorable reaction shows just how deep the bond between dogs and their humans can be.

It didn’t matter how long Freya and her human dad had been away from one another, the bond was never broken. She never forgot about him and he will likely never forget the amazing reception Freya gave him when he returned.
