Many owners of German shepherd puppies will tell you just how active and full of energy these little balls of fur are. They are also called land sharks for their tendency to nip and bite while playing. So, if you plan on getting a German shepherd puppy and have young children, keep this in mind and teach your puppy early on not to engage in this sort of behavior.

In the video, the girl and her family are visiting a farm where German shepherds are bred in Michigan. Her goal was to pick the perfect puppy out to take home and love. She never expected all of the puppies on the farm to want to play all at once. So, when they give chase, she does what is only natural and begins to run.

You can tell from her lighthearted laughter that she is not afraid and is enjoying being chased by so many adorable, little puppies. Eager to sniff and play with the new human, the dogs continued to chase her all over the huge green field.

Eventually, all good things must come to an end as the puppies finally catch up to the girl.

Her large smile is a great reminder of the joy that a puppy can bring to a child and serves as a reminder of why so many fall in love with dogs in the first place.

If you plan on getting a German shepherd puppy for your child, you should keep some things in mind. First, German shepherd puppies, while not meaning any harm, like to play rough, engaging in biting and wrestling. So, it is important to supervise your children while they are around a German shepherd and stop any inappropriate behavior immediately.

German shepherds also love to bark and whine. This is their way of getting attention and letting strangers know that they are there. Fortunately, a German shepherd can be trained to not be as vocal. Even with their rough play and vocalization, German shepherds still make a great family pet and can easily become a lifelong companion for your child.
