Owner gets a new puppy and German shepherd’s reaction says it all
Ever get that feeling that you might’ve been replaced? One day, it’s like nothing can come between you and your best friend. Then, someone new comes along and things aren’t the same. It’s the plot of Toy Story, for crying out loud.
We all feel a bit jealous sometimes.
We all want attention and love, and sometimes we don’t feel like sharing.
This German Shepherd on TikTok learned about jealousy in an adorable way.
The TikTok introduces us to our poor Shepherd. He lies on his owner’s floor and has a less-than-cheerful look on his face. What could possibly be upsetting this pooch?
The huge caption on the screen explains: “When mum promised she’d never get another puppy”.
We’re then introduced to the other puppy. It’s an adorable German Shepherd, just like him. Small and fluffy with big eyes and poofy ears. So I wonder why this one doesn’t look too happy about it.
Who am I kidding? We know exactly why. Our poor pooch is jealous.
He’s got the most bitter and disapproving look on his face. His ears are all tucked back, and he gives the puppy the “Who invited you?” look. As one of the comments says, it’s priceless how a dog can say so much without making a sound.
That look is worth a few hundred words on its own.
Over on the other end of the room, the puppy hasn’t got the slightest clue.
It’s just happy to be part of a new household.
Also, the song choice of “I Hate You I Love You” by Gnash just makes it better. The line “You don’t give a damn about me” is the stand-out part of the song playing in the video.
Thinking out loud, are we?
German Shepherds are famous for their ability to get along with others. Maybe it’s just a matter of time before his feelings change? More German Shepherds in the house can’t be a bad thing. They loves friends and are generally great siblings.
It might take a while before these two get along though.
