Meet the adorable German shepherd named Freya, who melted the hearts of millions of people over her sweet reaction to being reunited with her beloved human after a few months.

People with dogs will say that once you get a dog, your life will be changed forever, and we agree.

Having a dog is indeed a big responsibility, but that’s not what we mean about changing one’s life. When you allow a dog in your heart, you’ll see what unconditional love means.

Allowing a dog to love you means that you will have a companion through thick and thin; someone who will love you even in your darkest hour.

Your dog loves you, and all that dog wants is to spend every day with you.

No wonder your dog gets so excited and happy once you go home from work. For them, waiting 8-10 hours is already a long time, but you don’t see your puppy complain.

The viral video that was uploaded by Rumble Viral on YouTube in 2017 earned over 14M views, and here’s why.

It’s a short clip (less than 2 minutes)- yet it was still able to capture what unconditional love and loyalty really mean.

The video starts when the German shepherd’s owner enters the home where his dog had been staying. There, we see a woman who slowly opens the door where Freya was waiting.

Her tail was already wagging; she seems to know that her owner is there.

It had been months since they last saw each other, and Freya was overjoyed.

Freya started to cry with happiness! She can’t seem to contain her excitement upon seeing the human she loves. She started going in circles, jumping, and even rubbing her body against her owner’s legs.

Clearly, the beautiful dog can’t contain her happiness.

Dogs won’t question where you’ve been, why you left her, or what happened. Dogs will just appreciate the fact that you’re here again. That’s how pure they are. That’s how they love.

For over a minute, Freya just cried and showed how much she missed her hooman.

At around 1:30 in the video, her owner sits down on the floor, and Freya lies down, still wagging her tail, but she has already stopped crying.

Looking eye to eye, Freya kisses her owner, and her owner rubs her belly.

What a beautiful moment! In fact, it’s so beautiful that many people shared what they thought about the video.

One comment said that they can clearly hear Freya saying, “I love you.”

Another said that she can seem to hear Freya saying, “Oh my god” over and over again.

The other said that for us, they may only live for a decade, but for these dogs, we are their whole life.

Indeed, this video is another proof that dogs will love us unconditionally, and that we as owners should appreciate them more.
