In addition to being lovable and loyal companions, German shepherds are also known for their humorous side. Whether it’s doing something off the wall or simply getting themselves into a sticky situation, German shepherds are some of the funniest dogs around.

Getting the boot

This German shepherd can’t decide whether he wants to stay in or out. As he leaves again, he grabs one of his owner’s boots before being told to bring it back inside after his owner yells out the door to bring her footwear back.

Pool pup

Here’s a puppy who loves the pool so much that he has to be in it even when it is too cold outside. In the video, he runs around with a kiddie pool on his head. What a silly dog!

Dragged along for the ride

All this kid wanted to do was play ball with his pup. The only thing is he forgot to let go of his dog’s leash before having him fetch the ball. Oops!

The big stick

This dog is determined to bring a stick he found into the house. The problem is that it is too big for the door. Just to make sure, he retreats momentarily to try again. Maybe it will fit the second time, but nope, he still can’t get it through the door.

Watch out for that … oooh!

Running across the yard, here is a German shepherd playing a little Frisbee with his owner. He is so caught up in the moment that he does not see the fence rushing up to meet him.

Ring around the human

How could this human get so lucky? She has gotten the attention of two German shepherds. As she sits there laughing, the pair perform some sort of weird ritual — or maybe they are simply chasing each other’s tails.

Clever dog

Why do German shepherds chase their tail? Because it’s fun! This German shepherd is probably the first dog to figure out how to do so without having to chase it round and round.

Missing the mark

In a bad case of judgment, this dog had just attempted to jump through the window of the car. Unfortunately, he missed the mark and fell hilariously to the ground, as this photo shows him in mid-fall. But don’t worry. He’s OK!

Don’t mind me

Some dogs have no idea what personal space is. Take this dog for instance. All his owner wants to do is enjoy a drink, but the adorable dog insists on butting in. At least she seems to find it funny.

See you after the fall

In an obvious accident, this dog’s jump inadvertently carried him into his small protégé. Hopefully, the only thing hurt in this clip is pride.
