The first day of school is always the best, this past year, some kids just couldn’t wait to get back to their friends! Like this second grader with Cerebral Palsy who was especially overjoyed to go back to school, her dad took a video and it’s adorable!

Ariana Hoppe is a 6-year-old with cerebral palsy from Brunswick, Georgia. This past year, she was headed back to school at Altama Elementary to attend the second grade and boy was she excited!
Ariana was adopted as a toddler by the Hopper family, she’s the youngest of seven
Mark and Rebecca Hopper, adopted Ariana at the young age of 2-years-old. They have 7 children, including two other adopted children. She is the youngest of the Hopper’s children, the couple has been fostering Ariana since birth but made the adoption official she was two.
First, the Hopper’s were unsure if they could care for the young girl with the rare condition, but quickly she became the light of their life! She’s known to be the most loving member of the Hopper family, and now, they couldn’t picture life without her.
Mark Hopper decided to film Ariana going off to her first day of school this past year, and the footage is insanely cute
Mark Hopper took a short video as she was lifted into the school bus, and it’s been touching people’s hearts all over! Ariana giggles uncontrollably with happiness as she waves goodbye, how can you not fall in love with that smile!?
“No matter what, even in her situation, she’s just joyful and loves life in spite of her disability,” Mark told WSB News
Her laughter is a true testament of Ariana’s loving nature, even under the difficult circumstances of having Cerebral Palsy, she manages to inspire those around her with kindness and love.
What makes the video so special, is that Ariana is actually non-verbal, showing that you don’t have to be verbal to show joy
There are different types of cerebral palsy, Ariana is the non-verbal type, meaning she isn’t able to speak but can still make noise and laughs a lot! She loves school and is currently learning sign language, which you can see her use in the video! Ariana brings joy to everyone who comes in contact with her says, Mark:
“Honestly everybody that comes in contact with her at church, at work, they always tell me they love her and how much her smile brings joy to them. I’m glad that everybody gets to see this joy that she has that she brings to us every day and that everyone else can see and experience it.” He Said.
