Everybody has heard the Guns N’ Roses classic “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Slash let us experience one of the most excellent guitar solos of all time through that song. This video is of a 7-year-old killing the guitar on that song.

It’s not an easy guitar solo and seeing this little girl play it is incredible. Even Slash had something to say!

How Sweet Child O’ Mine came to be.

In 1987, Guns N’ Roses released the song “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin, and Steven Adler make up the band. The song was actually from a poem Axl Rose wrote to his girlfriend at the time.

Slash, however, is credited for coming up with the amazing guitar solo – but it was supposed to be a joke! He said he was just fooling around on his guitar and, well, the rest is history.

Everyone except Slash loved it, but it went on to be one of the greatest guitar solos of all time.

Look at how her fingers slide over those strings.

Zoe makes it look so easy. She started playing the guitar when she was only five years old. That’s only two years before this video was made, and she is already showing such talent and skill. Her family has been very supportive of her. The video was posted on the Newbury Rock School YouTube channel, which is a music school located in the United Kingdom.

More of Zoe’s guitar covers can be seen on her own YouTube channel. Now 15, Zoe has played at many venues and has been featured on television shows around the world.

Aside from guitar covers, Zoe also has ukelele and singing videos.

She plays like a pro.

The video begins with Zoe jamming the classic guitar intro, while the rest of the band joins in. She does this without any problems and then she easily switches to the chords. Zoe is focused on keeping the beat, and continues playing the song with no problem at all.

The chord progression is not for beginners at all. It consists of three major chords from the G major skill. Also, watching such a young girl play this tricky classic is just adorable.

It’s incredible to see a seven-year-old shred the solo. Most grown adults can’t even play the guitar this well in general.

Even Slash himself expressed admiration for the seven-year-old.

Slash isn’t the only guitar hero to admire Zoe. Her raw talent has also gained support from members of Metallica. They were also amazed at her display of skill.
