Aged 10-12, the young girls picked one of Queen’s most popular songs and they did an incredible job in delivering a showstopping dance routine.

Wearing black leotards, the talented girls approached the stage looking confident. None of them looked scared, shy, or nervous. They held their heads high as they made their way to the center.

When the music started, none of them held back.

They started showing off their gracefully synced steps. With how they move, it’s safe to say that the girls invested a lot of time and effort into perfecting their dance routine.

A few more seconds into the song, the girls’ energy got more intense.

Everyone who was watching them couldn’t help but be in awe by their moves. Every step was well-calculated and perfectly timed.

At one point, the dancers seemed to move into their own routine.

Even though they were somewhat showing off different moves- they were still able to deliver a solid performance. It’s not something people can pull off, particularly untrained people.

Then, they joined each other again to deliver more of their seamless routine.

The choreography they showed was pure genius.

It wasn’t really that surprising, given that the girls trained under Molly Long. She’s considered as an accomplished dancer in the industry. Apart from training dancers, she also has her own YouTube channel where she shares other routines she’s choreographed.

The talented girls won!

They won first place in their category and it was a well-deserved win. They clearly invested a lot of time and endured hours of training for the competition.

They gave justice to the song.

Bohemian Rhapsody is an iconic song. When you choose to do a cover of it, whether singing or dancing, people will have high expectations. Fortunately, the girls delivered. They surely made Queen, particularly Freddie Mercury, proud.

It’s about 6 minute-song consisting of different sections. There’s an intro, ballad section, and operatic passage. There’s also a hard rock part as well as a reflective coda. Even with several sections, the song wasn’t written with a chorus.

The meaning of the song is still unclear.

Freddie, the person who wrote it, refused to explain his piece. The only thing he shared about it was that it’s about relationships.

According to Brian May, a member of the band:

“Freddie was a very complex person: flippant and funny on the surface, but he concealed insecurities and problems in squaring up his life with his childhood. He never explained the lyrics, but I think he put a lot of himself into that song.”

After the song’s release, it has earned tons of awards. It was even named as the best British single of 1952-77. It has also been entered in the 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

In the 20th century, it has been named as the most-streamed song. It was able to surpass Sweet Child o’ Mine by Guns N’ Roses and Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.
