There is nothing stronger or more beautiful than motherly love. Especially if we’re talking about a momma dog or a mommy cat who’s taking care of her litter.

In this case, though the circumstances are a little bit different, the same quality of love is definitely still present. Even though many of us believe that dogs and cats don’t necessarily go along together, you just can’t help but think that this is just the cutest thing ever.

A lovable Golden retriever met a couple of newborn kittens, and she considers them as her very own children. She overwhelms them with love and affection.

Even though this definitely isn’t the only story on the internet where you can see the beautiful friendship between these two four-footer species, this case is definitely among the most adorable of its kind.

Cats and dogs really can be the best of friends!

Just as the owner of this Golden retriever and kitten litter has shown us in an amazing video.

This momma dog is taking care of five newborn kittens, and it’s just about the sweetest thing ever.

Definitely watch the clip at the bottom of the article, it will surely warm your heart. There’s nothing but love and affection in this video, (although you can definitely also spot a little bit of curiosity) coming from the golden retriever and the kittens.

Speaking of retrievers, if there’s one dog breed that will get along with just about anybody – even feline friends, it’s got to be the Golden retriever.

They’re absolutely adored by humans, but they’re very sociable with other pups and animals as well.

“The breed’s friendly, tolerant attitude makes them fabulous family pets, and their intelligence makes them highly capable working dogs,” expert website Dogtime.com writes.

Of course, these are all purrfect characteristics to take care of five kittens like a mommy.

The way they all interact with the larger dog is just amazing to witness. They’re all laying there against the larger pup, peacefully and completely content.

As if they don’t have enough motherly love already, their actual cat mommy and daddy are there too!

These five kittens will grow up with two parents looking out for them, as well as their extra pedigree mommy. It’s also fun to see how some of the babies definitely look more like daddy, while others take after their momma cat.

The owners of this furry family posted the video on YouTube, and it has been seen by millions around the world.

The short clip has amassed over two million views and tons of people commenting on the sweet spectacle.
