How often do you see a Golden Retriever falling in love with newborn kittens?

Just like most of us, falling in love can be pretty unexpected. This scene is rather unusual but, as you will see, definitely not impossible. In fact, thanks to social media we are able to search and see not just a few, but many stories about dogs and cats becoming best friends and we think it’s beautiful.

This precious video proves that dogs and cats can absolutely be loving towards each other, and without much prompting. It’s more than just a formed friendship between one cat and a dog – it’s all about the loving bond that ties this entire litter of kittens to a Golden Retriever who has made them his family.

Who wouldn’t fall in love with this video?

The first thing that you will see is a mama cat and her litter of kittens. That in and of itself is already super adorable! Then, you will immediately be acquainted with the oh-so-wonderful Golden Retriever, closely resting near the sweet kittens.

The mamma cat doesn’t seem to be worried, though. As a matter if fact, she’s completely relaxed as she grooms her kittens in front of their big guardian, and he seems to be content just looking at the kittens.

What’s amazing is how this dog lovingly looks over the kittens. He’s definitely in love and it even seems like he’d do anything to protect them from any and all potential dangers or threats. We certainly wouldn’t want to come between them!

We understand this beautiful doggo 100%, though. Just look how adorable these kittens are! They’re almost too cute to look at!

Another part of the video shows the kittens have grown up a bit, but are still as fluffy and cute as ever. With mom and dad’s care, they soon grow up to be healthy and, of course, playful. The ever-trusting Golden Retriever is always by their side.

The kittens are seen with mamma and papa cat, who don’t seem to be much in the mood for the video, but we understand. Having kids, especially five of them, can really take a toll on you.

Good thing that this beautiful, big doggo is always there to play and snuggle with the kittens.

Is there anything sweeter than their story? Look at how gentle the Golden Retriever is each time he’s with the kittens. He knows how big he is and how fragile the kittens are. So he makes sure that he doesn’t make any sudden movements.
