There’s nothing quite like cuddling up with a dog. This dog loves to cuddle with his mom so much that he wants her all to himself.

It’s easy to tell who Bailey the golden retriever’s favorite human is. While he adores both his mom and dad, it’s the mom that gets the most attention.

The dad is mostly ok with this. After all, he understands why Bailey would love his wife so much! But Bailey is not ok with his dad infringing on his and his mom’s cuddle time. One video shows what happens when you try to get between Bailey and his mom. And it’s hilarious.

The video begins with Bailey lying on the bed next to his mom. He has a big smile on his face as the mom rubs his belly.

But then Bailey’s dad sits at the foot of the bed. Bailey knows what kind of trick he’s trying to pull. So he sits up, ready to defend his cuddle time.

The dad tries to touch his wife’s foot. Bailey turns to his dad and monitors him closely.

So the dad slowly walks his fingers up his wife’s lower legs. When he reaches a certain point, Bailey decided that he’s had enough of this malarky and rises up to warn the dad off.

Bailey proceeds to try and push his dad away. If he could speak, he’d be saying, “Back off there. This is my cuddle time. You had yours all last night.”

Then the dog lies all over his mom’s legs, stopping the dad from touching her there.

The clip cuts to a little later. The dog is now on his mom’s lap. The dad moves his hand close to his wife’s knees, and the dog barks for him to stop.

Then the dad touches his wife’s lower leg, and the dog barks some more.

Even later, the dad is sat just off the bed. He carefully grasps his wife’s hand. But Bailey barks again and leaps up to try and pry the hands apart.

Then the dad distracts bailey with one hand and touches his wife’s lower leg with another. The dog thinks that the dad is backing down for a moment. But then he turns to see where the dad’s hand has gone and forces it away.

The dad keeps on trying to get the dog to accept him as part of the cuddles. But Bailey is determined to keep the cuddles just between him and his mom.

This video appeared on YouTube in 2020, and in just a few months, it has gone viral. To date, it has gained over 2.2 million views. It also has more than 23,000 likes and 950 comments. People have been saying things like this:

People clearly love seeing Bailey’s very human reactions! He just wants his favorite person all to himself and doesn’t care how he gets it.

But the dog does also love his dad. Another video proves that beyond a doubt.

One time, Bailey’s dad got a stuffed toy of a puppy. When the dad started cuddling this toy, Bailey got jealous of the fake animal.

He tried to break up their cuddles, just like in the other video.

Bailey may have some jealousy issues, but his parents love him anyway!
