Golden Retriever earns 37M views trying to get adorable kitten out of his bed
To those who have ever owned a cat and a dog at the same time, a cat occupying the poor dog’s bed is not an unusual sight.
What can the dog do about it?
In fact, cats are known to love cozy places to rest and chill, whether that is a nice cardboard box, a human’s bed, or another animal’s bed.
They just don’t care.
They want to hang out in their favorite place whatever the cost.
When it comes to cats and dogs living together in the same house, it seems that two explanations can be possible.
Either the cat that “steals” the dog’s bed really enjoys its coziness or the feline just wants to show who the real boss is.
“One of the reasons that cats might particularly like dog beds is because of this warmth and size,” experts explain.
At the same time, they highlight that “cats tend to represent themselves as the chief”, which can also explain the situation.
When it comes to Bailey, he is an adorable Golden Retriever, who loves his cozy, fluffy bed.
He enjoys running around the house and outside in the backyard, but he always comes back to his beloved bed to take a nap when he’s tired.
Bailey is fond of his big bed.

Indeed, that day he was tired of running and playing, and he just wanted to relax in his bed.
He had no idea it was already taken.
You see, the new addition to the family, a little kitten, fell in love with Bailey’s bed and wouldn’t leave.
Bailey is used to other animals in the house, so he didn’t freak out when he saw the cat on his bed.
He shares his owners’ love with a couple more dogs and Simon the cat, so getting his bed “stolen” was probably nothing new to him.
Still, he wanted to lie in his bed so badly.
So, he started staring at the kitten.
He was also looking at his owner, who was filming the video, hoping that the human would soon intervene and let him have his bed back.
No help from the humans.
So, Bailey just started barking and nudging the sides of the bed, in hopes that the kitten would leave.
But the feline was determined to stay there no matter what.
So, Bailey got a little more aggressive, and besides barking, he tried to nudge the kitten off his bed.
The tiny kitten didn’t seem bothered.
It just stayed there, hissing and meowing occasionally.
At some point, the dog lay on the side of the bed and the kitten seemed fine with it. Only he wasn’t.
He wanted his bed for himself. So, he started barking again and trying to scare the kitten away. But the kitten wasn’t going anywhere.
Finally, Bailey ended up with the kitten on top of him, since the feline decided to use him as a bed.
Maybe a best friends story had just begun? Who knows.
What we know for sure, though, is that the pair is too cute to ignore.
See Bailey try everything he can to move an immovable kitten in the video below!
