After a long, tiring day, there’s nothing more rewarding than to be jumped on by a cutie pooch who’s ecstatic to have you back home.

It instantly takes away the physical, mental, and emotional stress that you are feeling.

But not all dog parents are happy about it. Sometimes, a Golden Retriever knows how to play favorites all too well.

Take this dog, for instance, who reacts quite a bit differently when dad comes home compared to his mom.

Though it might not be too fun for dad, thankfully, he recorded the injustice for us all to see and we just can’t get over it!

Meet Oshie and his parents.

Jesse and Nancy are from California and are the proud parents of Oshie, a Golden Retriever. But he is not just an ordinary dog; he is also an internet star.

His parents run and manage his social media accounts called “Oshies World.” He’s also managed to pull in an impressive 108k subscribers on his YouTube channel, and another 25.4k subscribers on Instagram.

They regularly post photos and videos of Oshie’s life and adventures.

It’s worth the subscribe, view, like, and follow because he is such an adorable pooch and you’ll never get tired of looking at this handsome fella. There is no wondering why he’s internet famous.

It all started when Jesse noticed something different about the way Oshie greets him when he comes home compared to the way he welcomes his mom home. And because of this, he decided to conduct an experiment.

On that day, he got home from work and noticed Oshie standing by the window.

So, he grabbed his phone and filmed while still sitting inside his car. While some might think the dog is about to jump on his dad out of joy once he opens the door, Jesse himself knows otherwise.

“Oshie’s standing in the window, waiting for me to go inside. But I bet once I get in there, he’s not gonna act all that excited,” the jealous dog-dad points out.

Was he wrong about it?

His keys chime while trying to open the door. For most dogs, this sound triggers their excitement and will send them into a frenzy.

When the door opened, though, Oshie wasn’t there to greet him (as he expected). But wait, did he not see his dad coming? Where’s Oshie?

He calls out Oshie’s name. Most dogs will normally come rushing once they hear their name being called, but not Oshie. Daddy had to go find him.

He found the not-so-excited dog in the living room.

Even though that’s the case, he still showed dad that he’s happy to see him back.

With a wagging tail, Oshie walked towards him and asked dad to pet him.

After that, he took Oshie outside for some cookies.

As soon as he was out, he immediately wrestled the ground, and it was all playtime for him after that.

Now, it’s mom’s turn!

Jesse noticed that his wife, Nancy, was already in the driveway.

He went to the front door, and Oshie was already there with so much excitement on his face! You can see he’s impatiently waiting for dad to hurry up and twist the doorknob already!

And when the door opens, he rockets straight to his mom!

The excited Golden Retriever is so fast that he even disappears from the camera’s frame for a moment.

His tail wags non-stop. He’s jumping all over mom, but then he does something that really sticks it to dad…

He grabs mom’s purse for her and brings it inside!

Where did this energy come from? Where was it earlier?

Though there may be a huge difference between the way Oshie welcomes dad home vs. mom, there’s no denying that he loves his parents more than anything… he just loves mom a little more so!
