Grandma gives a peek inside her ‘simple and stylish’ tiny house on wheels
Sometimes, less is really more.
Penny is 77 years old, but does not hesitate to do what she wants and does not regret going after her dream home.
Her simplicity and love for uncomplicated things keep her happy and smiling.
The lovely elderly woman sold half of her stuff and bought her own tiny home.
She now lives happily in a tiny house community on the coast of Oregon, basking in the comfort and coziness of her home on wheels.
She is living the best life!
Penny decided to get rid of her clutter and be minimalistic in her possessions.
It can be very challenging to let go of things that you have accumulated over the years.
Although some items practically do not have a lot of monetary value, the memories they bring are another value that owners usually have a hard time letting go of.
Penny decided to just be herself and do what she’s always wanted.
She came to a decision to sell half of what she owned so she could buy her own tiny home.
She is one determined woman and she meant business. She eventually found a beautiful home for herself.
In a video uploaded by Tiny Home Tours, Penny proudly shares her simple but beautiful abode.
The woman provides a tour of her property and points out her favorite spots in the house.
She says:
“Hi, I’m Penny, and this is my tiny house ‘Silver girl.’ I’ve been here since December and living in a tiny home is so much different from living in a real house, and I love it because I got rid of over half of everything I owned to come here, and I just think it’s great. It takes ten minutes to clean the house from top to bottom so that’s a good thing.”
Penny’s home may be small in size, but it definitely is filled with beauty and comfort.
The furniture is vintage which added to the charm of the home.
Inside, the home’s material is all-natural pine while the bathroom is made of cedar wood.
One of her favorite places in the house is her cute but functional kitchen.
She also finds her living room quite relaxing and calming.
She placed a couch in the middle of it and this is where she usually finds time to take a break and just be happy with everything she has.
Penny also shared her incredible loft bed as well as her bathroom.
It may not be too big, but it is well-equipped with what Penny needed.
Unfortunately, because Penny is not too young anymore to go up to her loft bed, she decided to sell the tiny home so she can buy a new one.
It is amazing that despite Penny’s age, she was able to find her dream and act on it.
She is not used to living with only the essentials, but she has overcome that and she is now an expert in handling a beautiful tiny home.
She may be leaving her current house, but we are sure that the next person to reside in it will definitely love what Penny did to the place.
