Bride and groom have no children in the family, ask 90-year-old grandmothers to be flower girls

Choosing a wedding party should be the easiest part of wedding planning. The maid of honor and the best man are the easy part. Then you have the groomsmen, the most important friends of the groom, and of course, the most important ladies in the bride’s life make up the bridesmaids. After that friends and family pretty much know their role for the big day. Another staple wedding party member is the flower girl and ring bearer that usually goes to the cutest niece, nephew, or cousin in the family, but what happens when there aren’t any little kids to fill the position? Give it to the grandmas of course!

This flower gram is a great trend. It’s one thing to be thankful for being around long enough to see all your children and grandchildren grow up and be married off, let alone be included in their big day as more than just a guest. in every one of these stories you can see how much joy it brought these grannies to walk down the aisle for their grandkids. It just goes to show that we’re all kids at heart and never too old to play the role of flower girl.
